The cost and time consumed by traditional investigative research was a limiting to good journalism and online instant response allowed by the new information society, provided investigative journalists faster and safer ways to reach to true life information. Utilizing threads in friendship networks to interview and gather information that would be almost impossible to reach otherwise, accessibility to mobile captured images and videos of live reality available seconds after happening.
